What’s New at Gold Point Resort
Letter from the General Manager
November was a Grand month for Gold Point. The team completed its preventative maintenance and deep cleans in early November. All dining room furniture was replaced. We sold the previous dining room furniture to raise additional revenue for the HOA, and the remainder was donated. During November, Gold Point received the Gold status from Resource Wise. Resource Wise is a partnership between the High Country Conservation Center, the towns of Breckenridge, Dillon, Frisco and Silverthorne, and the Summit County government. Gold Point earned its Gold status by switching to bulk amenities and replacing the fluorescent lights on property with LED lights. In recognition of these environmentally friendly efforts, Resource Wise gave Gold Point a rebate for the two programs.
Some exciting events are occurring in Breckenridge this December. On December 8 we have the “Lighting of Breckenridge,” the “Holiday Dog Parade” and the “Race of the Santas,” which ends with a visit from Santa himself. The day’s festivities will begin at 3 p.m. In addition, many of your favorite skiers and snowboarders will be competing in Breckenridge from December 13 to 16 as the Dew Tour returns. The Dew Tour concert will take place on December 15, with The Motet headlining.
Thank you for a great year. As always, please contact me with any questions or suggestions.
